Loyola Reunion

Here is a photo from last weekends Loyola Reunion in Masthope, PA.

We are missing one kid in this photo, but this year there were 22 adults and 17 kids. Next year we will be adding at least three more kids, including the one in my belly that I am very, very, very ready to have out.

I was grateful to all my ladies who picked up a bit of the slack for me in my giant, 9-month pregnant state and also very glad that the Lady had a ton of friends to play with. Friends, we still are talking about almost every day.

I am always excited to get together with the Loyola group. I will say that I am looking forward to the next few years when my kids get a bit older and I can actually have a bit more time talking to my friends and maybe join in with a few adult beverages and a game of asshole, without having to go to bed before 11p.m.

Babies, Babies everywhere. . .

This is what happens when you try to get a group of 3-month to 4-year olds together. Nobody looks at the camera, at least one kid is crying, one has to be forced into the photo, two to three are totally oblivious and the rest are stuffing chocolate chip cookies into their mouths.

Daily Disasters

Here is a photo of the Lady "helping" with the laundry.

I am sitting at home waiting for the cable guy. They are supposed to come between 8 and 11 and if they don't come before 11, I am supposed to call them. We have a pixel problem with the TV where the picture and sound cut out. It is highly annoying. Normally, I wouldn't mind waiting around. The Lady and I have no real plans for the day, however, we are now out of diapers.
The Lady had a two diaper poo. I was premature in going in and changing it. She obviously wasn't done. When I checked the closet for more diapers there were none left, none under the changing table and only one in the diaper bag. She is wearing that sole diaper now, as she roams the house in nothing but it, sticking her finger into baby lotion tasting it and going mmmm. . .
I will dress her before the cable guy comes and try to distract her with some crayons.

Jersey Girls

Just want to welcome two new Jersey Girls (and yes I have been singing Bruce Springsteen all morning).

Congrats to my Loyola Lady and super momma on the birth of baby number three. I am looking forward to seeing some photos of the little lady and her older siblings. I hope all is well with you and that you are feeling good.

Also a belated congrats to another Jersey Girl (soon to be back in Pitt). Little CB is super fuzzy and super cute and I want to thank her mom for reading and officially welcome her to motherhood!

The Lady is an honorary Jersey Girl today because she has been performing as her alter-ego Bruce Screamsteen all morning. She is now napping and I hope that helps.
